Founded in 1916 under the patronage of His Highness Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda, T. Walker’s Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. was established by two visionary brothers, Dr. Gajanan (Bapusaheb) Talwalkar and Shankar (Annasaheb) Talwalkar

What began over a century ago as a pioneering medical endeavor has evolved into a distinguished fifth-generation family-owned pharmaceutical enterprise, built on a foundation of scientific excellence, quality, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to healthcare.

Our Journey Through Generations
T. Walker’s Pharmaceuticals commenced its operations at its Ahmedabad facility in 1916, initially focusing on the manufacturing of ointments, liquid orals, and tablets. The company was also among the early pharmaceutical manufacturers in India to produce injectable formulations, marking an important milestone in its journey.

In 1934, the company expanded its operations to Pune, laying the foundation for its long-standing presence in the region. The journey continued with the next generation, as Mr. S. S. Talwalkar joined the business as a partner.

The late 1960s marked the beginning of the third generation, with Mr. M. S. Talwalkar joining the company. During this period, the company made a strategic decision to place greater emphasis on injectable pharmaceutical formulations, an area that would become an important part of its identity and expertise.

The legacy continued through the fourth generation, with Mr. K. M. Talwalkar joining as a partner in the 1980s. In 2017, the fifth generation entered the business when Mr. I. K. Talwalkar joined as a partner, carrying the family’s pharmaceutical legacy forward.
